Emergency Eye Care

We are always willing to help should you ever experience an eye emergency. Our practice provides emergency services for eye infections, eye injuries, and other eye urgencies. We have an emergency phone line that is available after hours to connect you to an eye doctor when needed.

Our after-hours emergency phone line is: (503) 519-8669

We accommodate many eye emergencies such as:

  • Eye pain or injury
  • Sudden vision loss or change in your vision
  • Sudden onset of floaters or flashes of light
  • Treatment of “pink eye” and other infections
  • Foreign objects in the eye, such as small shards of glass or metal
  • Treatment of eye allergic reactions
  • Cuts or punctures of the eye or eyelid
  • Chemical exposure or burns
  • Any concerns following an eye surgery

We do not recommend home-treatment for these emergency situations. For advice during business hours, call us and an eye doctor can help determine what level of care is needed.
